The Federation of Oceania Rugby Unions (FORU) section of the 2015 Rugby World Cup qualification sees five teams competing for one spot in the final tournament in England.[1]

Format

Oceania will provide one direct qualifier to Rugby World Cup 2015 (Oceania 1) and will be the last region to begin its qualification process for England 2015. The Oceania Cup 2013 is the regional qualification tournament for Rugby World Cup 2015 with the winner to play Fiji in a one-off match. The winner of this play-off will qualify directly for Rugby World Cup 2015 as Oceania 1.[2]

Round 1: 2013 FORU Oceania Cup

The first round consisted of six home-and-away matches, featuring the top 4 lowest ranked teams in Oceania. The winner of the series proceeded to the second round. The FORU Oceania Cup took place in Papua New Guinea at the Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby from 6 to 13 July.[3]

Round 2: Oceania Final

The first round winner, Cook Islands, will play Fiji, in a one-off match on the 28th June 2014. The winner of this play-off qualifies for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
