From the tender age of 4 she had shown interest in acting and dancing and was a fan of bollywood films. She loved watching the song and dance numbers and felt very insipred. |

In March 2011 Alisha was first signed to Xtreem Agency Perth, Xtreem Agency supply models, promotional staff and actors for catalogues, magazines, TV commercials, movies, fashion parades, hostessing, nightclub events.
She then signed with Perth's Top Agency, Scene Model Management's branch, Actors Now Australia which host her as a Perth Based Actor on their website.
In May 2011 she walked the ramp for the first time at Rocky Bay, Model of the Future.
In July 2011 through Xtreem Agency she got her first commercial job. She worked with Channel 9 studios Australia to do a TV commercial for homebuyers.
In July 2011 Alisha interviewed with Image style studios with 30/35 other models and was One of Three selected to work with their organization and won a model scholarship.
In August 2011 she got her first anchoring job. She anchored the Indian Independence Day event at Perth Concert Hall, giving out a speech and introducing various acts in front of 2000 people. Her job was to manage and entertain the audience as well as introduce the acts of the night to them.
In August 2011 she started voice dubbing for narration purposes. Some of her work was presented at the Bengali Society of Western Australia’s Annual art function, attended by over 500 people.
In August 2011 she got her second Anchoring job after her success at my first job was heard of. Similarly as above she anchored the BAWA arts event an at Curtin Theatre in Freemantle in front of an estimated audience of 700 people for the Bengali Society of Western Australia.
In August 2011 she was in the cultural Independence Day Fashion Show in affiliation with Fashion Heir Enterprises.
In September 2011 she hosted her own fashion show at the age of 17. In the fashion show she was in charge of 50 models managing them and directing them on my own as well as the lighting managers, DJ and photographer.she was also the sole MUA for the event.

In January 2012 Alisha was officially selected as a finalist for Miss India Australia, she represented Perth in this prestigious beauty pageant.
In February 2012 Alisha joined the Sinx Network in UK where she worked as an RJ alongside Radio Presenter Shahan Shah.
In March 2012 she travelled to Mumbai to participate in the International Beauty Pageant Indian Princess International 2012. She represented Australia and got into the top 5, she also won Miss Best Smile. The pageant grooming and training was broadcast internationally on Channel V including the grand finale. She was judged by Bollywood stars Hema Malini and Zeenat Aman
In May 2012 Alisha appeared in the well known Bollywood magazine Avenewz Magazine Australia in which she had an exclusive interview and a one page spread about her modelling work.
In June 2012 Alisha was selected to represent Perth in Indian Australian Dancing Star in Melbourne after auditioning in Perth but was unable to attend due to certain circumstances.
In June 2012 Alisha signed up with one of Delhi's well known Agencies Shimmer Production.s
In June 2012 Alisha participated in the beauty pageant Miss North India 2012 and represented Delhi.She won the Semi Finale and claimed the Title of Miss Talented in Jaipur. She also won Miss Beautiful Legs and was voted Miss Congeniality by the contestants. She came First Runner Up and signed a contract with Sri Sai Entertainment to work with their organization for one year. Sri Sai Entertainment is an organization working since 2008 providing platform to young enthusiastic designers to showcase their talent and for models to fulfill their aspirations and dreams. It is an effort to bring together the best talents of India and Indian residing overseas on a single platform).
