Na Maloom Afraad (Urdu: نا معلوم افراد; meaning unknown people) is an upcoming Pakistani social comedy, thriller film directed by Nabeel Qureshi[2] and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza. Film stars Pakistani television veterans Javed Sheikh, Fahad Mustafa and Mohsin Abbas Haider in lead roles.[3] The film is based on turmoil and chaos in the city of lights Karachi.[4]

Plot outline

Na Maloom Afraad is a story of three reckless poor struggling souls, running after their individual ambitions and desires, brought together by one incident which makes their not so simple life into a thrilling roller coaster ride of numerous ironic twist & turns. The three characters run around in the chaotic city of Karachi bringing out the craziest plan to save their love, life and asses.

Production

The film is produced by Fizza Ali Meerza under the banner of Filmwala Pictures. The film is currently in its post production phase.[5]

The music album on the film was released on 6 September 2014 along with theatrical release date. Lyrics are penned by Sabir Zafar & Mohsin Abbas Haider consisting of 9 tracks with Shani & Kami composing 7 of them and Vicky Haider & Naqash Haider composed one track. The item song Billi filmed on Mehwish Hayat is sung by Saima Iqbal, is penned by Fizza Ali Meerza and Nabeel Qureshi. Film's lead actor Mohsin Haider Abbas also wrote and sung one track Sapno Ki Mala. [10]

The theatrical trailer was released on June 27, 2014 on social media and later on television.[11][1] Film is scheduled to release across Pakistan on Eid ul-Adha 2014[12][13] was announced at a press conference held in Karachi.[14] Film will be competing Shaan Shahid’s Operation 021, Shahid Kapoor’s Haider and Hritik Rohsan’s Bang Bang at box office.
