== Stop Now ==

Your obstruction to Mr. Parini's wiki page is vandalism. It is obvious you are doing this because of his CNN piece on gun control. Stop now so no further action will have to be taken. Thank you.

Inquiring about "Project: Firearms" photographs.

Hello! I noticed you coordinate Wikipedia's "Project Firearms" and thought you might have an answer to my question. I have recently purchased a large lot of collectible rifle and pistol cartridges, many of which Wikipedia does not have photos for. I would like to contribute by photographing them but I can't seem to find any guidelines for what the preferred method is. There's such a wide variety of different types of photos in the various articles and I can't find any consistency in them. Some of them are by themselves, others have common calibers alongside them for comparison, some have rulers beside them, and still others have black and white drawings or SAAMI dimensions in place of photos. I would appreciate it if you could straighten me out on the preferred method. Thanks! Ultratone85 (talk) 01:36, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey thanks for the quick response! The collection I picked up is at least 80 cartridges strong and includes all sorts of unique and unusual items. I haven't looked up every single one yet on Wikipedia but so far I can provide photos for .303 Savage, .44 S&W American, .401 Winchester Self-Loading, .284 Winchester, .25 Remington, .30 Remington, & 8mm Remington Magnum. I'll submit a couple of preliminary photos for you to look at before I go through and photograph all of the rest. Thanks for your help! Ultratone85 (talk) 21:47, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey thought I'd let you know I've finished going through my cartridge collection and I was able to contribute 18 photos to articles that needed them. If you'd like to look them over you can find them collected here User:Ultratone85/ammophotos. Thanks again for your help! Ultratone85 (talk) 23:21, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Mike! Wanted to let you know the photos are already inserted into their respective articles. Thanks again! Ultratone85 (talk) 23:31, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 27

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited McFarlane Toys, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Austin Powers. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
