Aquaphor is a petroleum-jelly-based ointment manufactured by Eucerin, a division of Beiersdorf AG. It is available in two forms, Original Ointment and Healing Ointment. Both forms are similar to Vaseline but contain some additional ingredients.

The Original Ointment contains mineral oil, ceresin, and lanolin alcohol.
The Healing Ointment contains mineral oil, ceresin, lanolin alcohol, panthenol, glycerin, and bisabolol.

Like Vaseline, Aquaphor is an effective treatment for minor cuts, scrapes, burns, and dry or cracked skin.

Events

Every year, New York City holds a triathlon in Manhattan. The 12th annual triathlon in July 2012 was sponsored by Aquaphor and had approximately 3000 triathletes competing.^[1]
