Overview

Yakult U.S.A. Inc., a subsidiary of Tokyo based probiotics pioneer Yakult Honsha Co., Ltd., and is primarily engaged in importation, distribution and sales of Yakult in the United States. Yakult USA is headquartered in Torrance, California with its factory located in Fountain Valley, CA. Yakult is a probiotic dairy product made by fermenting a mixture of skimmed milk with a special strain of the bacterium Lactobacillus casei Shirota. [1][2]
