reverted edits by x

Hi, I'm new to RC patrol, and I was wondering how you do the 'reverted edits by X to version by Y' edit summary. Is there a shortcut to reverting an edit?Borisblue 22:31, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Kelvin(s)

I was under the impression that Kelvin was uncountable, like Celsius and Farenheit. But if that's the incorrect usage, then change it back by all means. Cheers. --Madchester 04:11, 23 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted Metric system

I see you've reverted the edits I've been making to Metric system. Why not come to Talk:Metric system to discuss it? Jimp 28Sep05

Hi Siroxo Wikipedia's markup engine does the "wrong" thing with single quotes. I removed the quotes since the quote at the beginning of the URL is excluded but the one at the end is not. The URL becomes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%s' instead of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%s The only way I could get it to work was to take out both single quotes. There might be another method, but I am still new to Wikipedia.

Physical system(s)

Hi, you seem to have merged the two articles- I'm kind of new here and just wondering; how do I find the original author of the section just merged in? Just curious, thanks!

Vandal tags

Thank you for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia!

Be sure to put warning tags on the vandal's user talk page (such as {{subst:test}}, {{subst:test2}}, {{subst:test3}}, {{subst:test4}}). Add each of these tags on the vandal's talk page, in sequential order, after each instance of vandalism. Adding warnings to the talk page assists administrators in determining whether or not the user should be blocked. If the user continues to vandalize pages after you add the {{subst:test4}} tag, request administrator assistance at Request for Intervention. Again, thank you for helping to make Wikipedia better. -Mysekurity(have you seen this?) 03:10, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I didn't mean to sound condescending, because I know you know what to do in this situation, but I realized that after I clicked save, so my appologies. I think replacing big blocks of content with " [name] is gay!" is definitely vandalism, and not merely a test (but I think test users should be warned as well, that's why I use {{test}} and {{vw}} (which, btw, will you try and save vw? there are a couple of users that are pretty unhappy with the template it seems, and don't understand that a warning for a test and a warning for clear vandalism are, and should be, different). Thanks, and happy editing, Mysekurity(have you seen this?) 03:23, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I doubt any of those voting keep did much actual vandalism fighting, or else... yeah... anyways, happy editing. -Mysekurity(have you seen this?) 03:41, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What the Hell? Bill Oreilly Site

According to "Vandalism" guidelines. ROFL I am not vandalising anything.

1. Omitting insuinating or biased commentary is part of the "Editing" features 2. I am not inserting information that in any way is meant to destroy the integrity of the information 3. Authors siting "Left Wing" website "Media Matters" as a legitimate and postable source of information is not credible 4. Some of the information in the article is blatently false or unsubstantiated heresay that can not be proven 5. I am newb...and editing for very first time tonight...and I will continue to edit some more until somebody points out an actual violation....or some facist administrator decides what is right and what is wrong in his self appointed post...

Got your message

Don't understand the rules just yet...

Made some edits between your personal messages...will follow the rules per your instructions.

Tried to cite the edits this time...if indeed I was in the "Cite" box even

D'ni numerals in Template:Numeral systems

Hi, I replied to your comment on Template talk:Numeral systems. SFT | Talk 07:14, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Need your advice!

RFC Woggly

I have opened a Request for Comment on User:Woggly due to harassment which is clearly evidenced by her in a harassment campaign that she has organized on her talk page User:Woggly 4 On this page one can witness how accusations of using sockpuppets were never confirmed before she accused me of these actions and others. Need your kind advice. Thanks, IsraelBeach 01:33, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you contributed to discussions at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Israel News Agency. It was deleted by User:Danny, but not done as an Office Action. As you contributed to the original AFD, I was wondering if you would take the opportunity to make comment at DRV. Please note that if it remains deleted then I'm not terribly fussed. However, because the community found that it was notable and should be kept and it was not slanderous (that I can see) I relisted it. - Ta bu shi da yu 12:07, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
