Description
|website=http://scoopwhoop.com.hypestat.com/
ScoopWhoop is an Indian media company that describes itself as “…the internet media company specifically designed for the new age Indians online." Founded in August 2013 by a team of 5 young minds (all below the age of 30), this indigenous online platform has gone viral over the Internet in India ever since it was established. ScoopWhoop focuses on writing quality content that the readers relate to and topics that are quintessentially Indian, which probably the reason of their mass popularity as initially having no budget for media, no particular technological support and no revenue stream. Also often known as Buzzfeed’s clone in India, ScoopWhoop has carved their niche in the hearts of several Indians online with very relatable posts, messages, videos and various lists. The start-up is known for their creative, witty style of presenting editorials that appeals to the reader in a more personal and authentic manner. ScoopWhoop has grown tremendously ever since it started and the graph only looks upwards for this web start-up, despite the rising competition it faces in the “bored-at-work” demographic.
