Hybrid Studios opened in the Fall of 2013. Founded by studio pro Billy Klein and video director Patrick Akhamlich.[2]

The recording studios at Hybrid were designed from the ground up to provide great acoustic sound quality alongside a simple and straightforward workflow. With a diverse combination of analog and digital gear and the same acoustician, Hanson Hsu, as Universal Music's mastering facility, creating great sound at Hybrid is as easy as plugging in a microphone. The world-class control room in Studio A is based around a SSL4064G+, the analog mixer that has been used for more platinum-selling albums than all other consoles combined.
