    Help

I've set up this page to be automatically archived at a certain point by ClueBot III. Have I done this correctly? I want to make sure. Thanks. The StormCatcher (talk) (contribs) 03:36, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You had both lowercase sigmabot and ClueBot set up. You should only use one. It looks like the original one you tried (lowercase sigmabot AKA MiszaBot) was not set up correctly. I took the liberty of redoing it. Please feel free to change any of the options I have set up. I tried to go off what you already had but you were missing some information. The Counter= parameter is the current archive suffix (right now you are on Archive1 so that should stay as 1). The bot should automatically change that when the page gets too large and it moves onto the next one. The minthreadsleft= parameter is the number of sections the bot will always leave on the page. I set this to 3 but feel free to make it smaller or larger. I have also set the archival time period to 14 days with a max archive size of 150 kilobytes. You can try setting the time period to just 1 day to see if it works or not (you would also have to change the minthreadsleft parameter since there is only two threads currently here). If you have any other questions please feel free to respond here or on my talk page. If you respond here please ping me. Thanks! --Stabila711 (talk) 06:04, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • Hi! Thanks for your help. Can you set the archival time period to 90 days with a max archive size of 750kb? I'm having trouble doing it myself. Also, is the max archive size the max amount of size the talk page can get before it is archived or is it the max size of the archive itself? The StormCatcher (talk) (contribs) 06:07, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I changed it to 90 days. The max archival size is the amount the archive page can get to before the bot automatically makes a new one. So when User talk:CatcherStorm/Archive 1 hits 150,000 bytes the bot will automatically make User talk:CatcherStorm/Archive 2 and start saving there instead. You do not want to go much larger than that if you want to use automatic archiving since large pages can cause the bot to freeze up and crash. You can go a little higher but 750kb would be pushing it. Thoughts? --Stabila711 (talk) 06:13, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

    Unconstructive edit

    Which one exactly please? 87.112.180.82 (talk) 07:24, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

    • Hi. All of them interrupted the syntactical flow of what is considered encyclopedic on Wikipedia. For example, removing something about sidewalks because YOU THINK not everyone calls it sidewalks, which would be original research. Feel free to look at the links I am about to put on your talk page. Thanks. The StormCatcher (talk) (contribs) 07:26, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Have I removed what? Please provide specific diffs. You are completely out of order. Stop treating me like a vandal, I'm trying to work here, thanks.
Your uppercase is not only histerical, but also incorrect. It is a fact that sidewalk is American English, not used in UK and other parts of the world. 87.112.180.82 (talk) 07:30, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Then you may wish to fix the lede of this article, because according to you it's incorrect. Careful you may have to provide evidence, which you don't seem to be very good at. Still waiting to see what I have removed and where, and what changes of mine were unconstructive. Have a nice day. 87.112.180.82 (talk) 07:37, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

    Mehrdad nosrati mehreshaer

WP:CSD#G1 notes that it does not apply to "coherent non-English material, or poorly translated material." Mehrdad nosrati mehreshaer is in Persian, with a poor English translation, but it's not "incoherent text or gibberish with no meaningful content or history". Your Undoing My Changes to Craig Chaquico's Wikipedia Page

    Hello CatcherStorm,

I am Craig Chaquico's artist manager. He asked me to go in and update/correct his Wiki page as it was filled with errors and outdated. He also asked me to update the photo in the Infobox. It took me many, many hours to learn how to do this and to make the corrections/changes for him, and now I see that you reverted it back to the old page with all of the errors. Why have you done this? Please return it to the version with the corrections and updates and/or contact me to let me know why you have changed it back to an incorrect and outdated page.

    Thank you, Dara PilotRock61 01:58, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
