Karaite or Karaites (Anglicized Turkic: Karaylar) may refer to:

  • Karaite Judaism, a Jewish religious movement that rejects the Talmud
  • Crimean Karaites, also known as Karaim and Qarays, an ethnic group derived from Turkic-speaking adherents of Karaism in Eastern Europe
  • Karaim language, Turkic Karaite language with Hebrew influences historically spoken by the Crimean Karaites
  • In older texts or those about Turkic Karaites it may instead refer to the Keraites also called Karaits,[1] a Turco-Mongol tribe.[2][3] Careful examination of the sources is therefore required to avoid confusion.
