Suspected sockpuppets

Both these accounts have made systematic addition of hoax information. The following points recur in them: fake articles on historical topics with somewhat plausible detail and sourcing (for example, an English aristocratic title named Count of Skippool, a fake triangle trade company named Crompton Atlantic) and citations to obscure books, but which show no signs of being true. Many of the articles have referenced Canada, the family name Crompton and the north-west English coast. Fake articles created: Count of Skippool (fake title, claimed to be held by 'Alex Crompton'), Crompton Atlantic (fake company), Altair Island (a possibly real island, but falsely claimed to be a business centre, location of Crompton Atlantic's offices & tax haven). Also much dubious information added to turn a redirect for the hamlet of Skippool into an article, claiming a tiny hamlet to be a major port, headquarters of 'Crompton Atlantic' and centre of smuggling, and to the George Crompton article, claiming Alex Crompton to be his descendent. Both accounts also show a similar-sounding interest in winches and gearing, which was George Crompton's field of expertise. Blythwood (talk) 20:39, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

After running some checks and comparing with other CUs, I can say that this is  Confirmed to the master. Strangely enough, it is also  Confirmed to MarnetteD and Pharaoh of the Wizards ;  Technically indistinguishable from Floquenbeam; Likely to NawlinWiki; and possible to Bongwarrior. However, it is Red X Unrelated to Newyorkbrad and GAB. DoRD (talk) 21:08, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
