Gaurav Kapur is an Indian actor and television presenter known for being the host of the pre-match Indian Premier League show, Extraa Innings T20.His presence on IPL stage has been appreciated by the audience, and one of the basic reasons of immense craze amongst the audiences is because of his style of speaking and presenting the show. His style and wittiness has been amazingly appreciated bringing in a huge following base for the actor.

Career
He was seventeen when he landed an opportunity to work with FM. After beginning as a radio jockey, he began working as a VJ on Channel V where his amazing skills bought name and fame to him and he worked in association with the channel for almost six years. He also had an inclination towards acting, and he finally made a debut in the film ‘Darna Mana Hai’ in the year 2003. This was just a beginning then he made appearance in ‘Sssshhhh’. He is amongst those lucky actors who rarely get the opportunity to do back to back movies in the first year of their career. Thereafter, he was also seen in a comic movie called ‘Chai Pani’ which was released in the year 2004. In the year 2005, the actor got a chance to show his versatility and this happened when he was casted in ‘White Rainbow’, a film which revolved around women. Further to these, Gaurav Kapur movies include ‘Kudiyon ka hai Zamaana’, ‘Ram Gopal Verma ki Aag’, ‘Ugly aur Pugly’, ‘Wednesday’ and few more. His journey has not been so simple but was full of small and big bumps, but the actor still managed to get away from all of it because of the amazing talent he possesses which gave him the endurance to be part of the industry. Working in ‘A Wednesday’ was one of the biggest achievements in his life when he got a chance to share screen with two famous actors of Bollywood i.e. Anupam Kher and Nasrudeen Shah. It was in the year 2009, where he got an opportunity to play as a lead actor in the movie called ‘Bad Luck Govind’ which got mixed reviews from the audiences.
Personal Life
Gaurav Kapoor is from New Delhi and his schooling years were in Mount Saint Mary’s School. He married popular actress Kirat Bhattal on 3 November 2014 at Chandigarh.
