With decent roads and serene atmosphere it is a decent place to live in. It is basically Shiite area with various azakhanas.

Noorkhan Bazar is a neighborhood and former market area in the old city of Hyderabad, India. Originally the place was known as Bazar-e-Noorulumara, because of the bazaar (market) and the Noorulumara grave yard nearby.

Noorkhan bazar is famous for Ashoor Khana e Hasnain(An ashoor khana maintaine by Grogn), Narjis Gulshan, Aziz Bagh, Aziz Bagh was constructed in 1899 by Aziz Jung.

Noor Khan Bazar is a great place to live, it is located to close to the Musi River. The area of Noor Khan Baazar is not more than 2 square Km. The good part about this area that it was on the cross roads of Old City and New City. The population of Noor Khan Baazar was very diverse where Sunni Muslims, Shia Muslims, Marwadis, Hindus are living there for last 50 years. In 1950s this place was a residence to Lawyer Sayyed Abul Razzak who as Bar at Law, he also used to run Classes for new Lawyers at his mansion and Mir Jamal Ali a renowned social worker.

The Mohallas around Noor Khan Bazar were DabirPura, Kattalguda, Purani haveli, Malakpet, Chanchalguda, Ali lodge, Aza Khan e Zahra.

Ahmed Villa (Owned by Syed Safdar Hussain, president of Groh - e Hasnain and a well known person specially acknowledged for his social activities), Fatima Manzil and Narjis Gulshan are two most famous residence in the heart of this area close to the round about.

Prominent places around Noorkhan Bazar, Salarjung Musesum, Mahatma Gandhi Bus Terminal.
