Mujahid Ahmed Bello, (born August 16, 1988) known by his stage name Fancy Gadam, is a Dagbani language Ghanaian afropop, dancehall and reggae musical artiste.

Early life and music career

Early life

Fancy Gadam was born in Hausa Zongo, a suburb of Tamale, the capital town of the Northern Region (Ghana). He completed his education at the police barracks school in Tamale in the year 2004.[1]

Music career

Fancy Gadam started his music career at the age of 12 as a performer at schools and public events. His passion for music grew steadily after school when he started moving from studio to studio in order to develop his beat production skills.[2] Fancy Gadam is said to have been influenced by Davido, Banky W. and Wizkid (musician). He is undoubtedly the most successful artist in the Northern Region (Ghana) with 5 albums to his credit namely Kalipo, Ashili, Nawuni yiko, Takahi and Mujahid.[3]

Notable performances

On the 1st of December 2017, Fancy Gadam was one of the best performing artists at the S Concert. His sterling performance on the night saw his fans entertained till the early hours of Saturday, the 2nd day of December 2017.[4]
