Fancy Gadam was born in Hausa Zongo, a suburb of Tamale, the capital town of the Northern Region (Ghana). He completed his education at the police barracks school in Tamale in the year 2004.[1]
Music career
Fancy Gadam started his music career at the age of 12 as a performer at schools and public events. His passion for music grew steadily after school when he started moving from studio to studio in order to develop his beat production skills.[2] Fancy Gadam is said to have been influenced by Davido, Banky W. and Wizkid (musician). He is undoubtedly the most successful artist in the Northern Region (Ghana) with 5 albums to his credit namely Kalipo, Ashili, Nawuni yiko, Takahi and Mujahid.[3]
