Ambitiouz Entertainment is a South African independent record label owned and founded by Kgosi Mahumapelo in April 2015. The label houses notable acts including Amanda Black and Emtee.[1][2]

Artist Exit and Controversy

The record label went under much scrutiny after artists Fifi Cooper, B3nchMarQ, A-Reece & Flame left the label in a very public and ugly fight.[3][4] Artist claimed that they decided to part ways with the record label because of financial disagreement, Fifi Cooper went on to say that she had been signed for over two years to the label yet had not received a single cent from her gigs as well as royalties.

Late 2017 the record label filed a law suit against former artist Fifi Cooper, banning her from performing any and all songs that she had released while under the label. This caused an uproar from fans and supporters of the artist, which resulted in South African Political party, Economic Freedom Fighters' lawyers stepping in to assist Fifi Cooper in the legal battle.[5]
