Silver Ravenwolf is the leader of the Black Forest Circle and Seminary, an organization containing over 38 clans (each consisting of several covens) spanning the United States and Canada. She is the author of eighteen books on Wicca, including To Ride A Silver Broomstick, TeenWitch! and The Ultimate Book of Shadows -- Solitary Witch!

Born Jenine E. Trayer on September 11, 1956, she has been married for 23 years, and is a mother of four teenagers. She currently resides in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Serpent Stone Family, and received her Third Degree Initiation as a member of that coven. She has been active in Wiccan anti-discrimination issues.

Currently, her books have been translated into Czech, Spanish and Italian. She has appeared at various Wiccan, pagan and magical events such as the Starwood Festival.[1] Her successful selling of Wiccan books is credited by similarly hopeful authors for opening up the publishing market to the general reading public.
