Yes, this is KevinPR82 speaking. Yes, I did re-edit the Mo'ne Davis and Lincoln Memorial Confrontation articles as KevinPR82 after previously editing as an anonymous user. In the case of the LMC article, my commentary on the YouTube link kept getting rejected, so I decided to add the YouTube interviews as an additional reference without further commentary. In the case of the Mo'ne Davis article, the LLB reference that I have sourced makes it unambiguously clear that 2014 was NOT the first Little League World Series in which two girls participated. This is a clearly inaccurate statement that I have been trying to alter with explanation, and I have no idea why this change keeps getting reverted. I can see how my final sentence may be seen as unsourced, so I did not include that in my most recent revision under KevinPR82.

I have made many more edits to Wikipedia that have been accepted, sometimes even without a source citation. Most recently, I have made updates to the Little League World Series article from the IP address of my daytime job (which allows me a great deal of free time), and these changes have been accepted without any controversy. I have no idea why one article would so easily accept my changes, while another very similarly related article (Mo'ne Davis) would not.

Revision as of 17:06, 15 June 2019

Hello, KevinPR82 and a belated welcome to Wikipedia! I see that you've already been around awhile and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Citations

Hi. Thanks for your contributions to Democrats for Life of America. I have re-added a couple of the citation needed tags on there. It's great that all this information can be found on the website, but readers may not know that, or where to look. That's why the WP:Verifiability policy requires that all information be attributed to WP:Reliable sources. Thanks also for the sources you have already added. It's important also, in order to avoid WP:Link rot, that full references be included, not just bare URLs. If you want to cite DFLA's website, for example, you can use Template:Cite web. I'm glad to help you if you need it. --Slugger O'Toole (talk) 21:37, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/73.60.41.24, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
