A suicide video been found by police where victim Shalikram Pudasaini accused Ravi Lamichane . Some external source posted a edit video accusing only Rabi Lamichhane and two more people .The original video is 23 minutes long and everyone is requested to reports such fake news channel on youtube (by clicking on three dot then report that video ) . People are gathering at the chitwan district court from all over Nepal to support Lamichhane. Crowd are protesting not to take Lamichhane under custody for the fake reason behind suicide of his colleague.

Career

Rabi Lamichhane stayed on the air for more than 62 hours during a live broadcast by News24 Television. To set the world record for the longest talk show, he interviewed politicians, journalists, and celebrities on the theme "Buddha was born in Nepal", and took phone calls from viewers. The previous record was set by two Ukrainian presenters who stayed on the air for 52 hours in 2011.[8][9]

Before moving to the U.S., he hosted an online show by the name "Ma Rastrako Sewak". He also hosted a show on Nepal Television [10]

He wrote the lyrics for Nabin K Bhattarai's song "Timilai Man Paraunchhu" [11] and the song "Timro Aagamanle feri" sung by Ram Krishna Dhakal.[12]

Currently, he hosts a show called "Sidha Kura Janta Sanga" (Translation: Straight Talk With The People) in News 24 television.[13] Recently, it reached its 400th episode.[14]

Personal life

He used to be the manager and supervisor of a Subway chain in Baltimore, Maryland, where he resided before moving to Nepal permanently.[15]
