Hobbs made his professional wrestling debut on July 18, 2019, at All Pro Wrestling (APW)'s Gym Wars, under the name Will Rood where he was unsuccessful to win the Royal Rumble to determine the No. 1 contender for the APW Worldwide Internet Championship.[2][4] During his time at APW, Hobbs held the Worldwide Internet Championship three times[6] and won the APW Tag Team Championship three times with Marcus Lewis, under the tag team name "Lion Power".[2]
