The Kamer van Koophandel (KvK) is the Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands. It is operated as a quango, guided by the Wet op de kamers van koophandel en fabrieken (Chambers of commerce and factories law) 1997 and the Handelsregisterwet (Trade registry law) 2007. Currently there are a total of 18 offices spread throughout the country [1]. The Chamber of Commerce provides different services. The main tasks are managing the Dutch Commercial Register, providing information, advice and support to businesses, e.g. startup, innovation, import and export etc. [2] Citizens of all countries are allowed to register companies in the Netherlands. [3]

It is a member of the European Business Register.[4]
