Raja Dhiraj Singh was the son of Raja Lal Singh. Raja Lal Singh was the founder of [[Raghogarh-Vijaypur|Raghogarh]]. They were members of the Khichi clan of [[Chauhan Dynasty|Chauhan Rajputs]]. Dhiraj Singh was a great patron of music and painting. He also built several temples. Raja Dhiraj also fought alongside with [[Jai Singh I|Jai Singh]] & he was one of his best supporters of Jai singh's policies and actions.
