Maradiya Maradiya is the surname (sub-caste) in the caste of Prajapati (Variya Prajapati). They come from Desh Marad and stable in Saurashtra of Gujarat. That’s why they known as MARADIYA. Formerly they are the Porter. But now a days, people of this caste are works in the field of Government and Private sectors as a Textiles (Tailor), Diamond Industries, Blacksmithing, Goldsmithing, Education (Teachers, Professors), Medical (Doctors), Engineering (Engineer), Research and so forth. Root of this caste interacts with Daksh Prajapati, Prajapati Parmeshthi and others. Some people writes their surname Maradiya as Maradia.
