Do not stand at my grave and weep/I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow/I am the diamond glint in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain/I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush./I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight./I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep./I am not there, I do not sleep.

I don't think I can make anything this beautiful here...

This is my sandbox. I play here with my toys, which mainly consist of Wikipedia markup and HTML. Don't try eating the sand...it's not sugar and I'm not a lawyer. Unlike Banes, I don't mind if you get sand in my eyes, since my contacts will protect me. (Well...ok, maybe not.) If you have clear answers to any of my open problems, be my guest. And, if you feel like cheering me, please...do! 'Cause I actually do use this page. :D Ciao!

You can make your own sandbox by typing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:XXX/sandbox, substituting XXX with your own unique username.

Apepi I

Apepi I was the third Pharaoh from the Fifteenth dynasty during the Second Intermediate Period. He had at least one daughter, and probably ruled for more than 40 years time.

Here's what I've been filling my brain with lately.

Ancient Mesopotamia

Ancient Mesopotamia

Open Problems in ViolinGirl's Mind

  • Who was Tiglathi-nin? Was he Arik-den-ili? Was he Tukulti-Ninurta_I? Or was he a seperate person for which there is no article yet? If so, why not? and if so, what would there be to write about him? (See [1], [2] for proof of him being a real person. :) )
  • Was Queen Tiy Joseph's daughter?
  • Was Joseph (of the Bible) actually Yuya, who was mummified?
  • Since we firmly believe that Joseph's bones were carried out of Egypt ([3]): if Yuya really was Joseph then is the mummy they claim as Yuya actually Yuya? Why are there eleven different spellings of his name on the mummy, furniture, etc...?
  • Who else (than Tiglathi-nin) were the monarchs of Assyria who had control over the affairs of Western Asia?
  • I'm so lost...literally, walking in circles: If you keep clicking whoever preceded the last king in the "Kings of Babylon", it goes in a circle! Why??? Starting with Nebuchadnezzar:

where to go here...Sargon II or Mushezib-Marduk? well, let's try Mushezib-Marduk...(and my! what weird names)...
