Cake is the 1990 debut album by the Scottish rock band The Trash Can Sinatras. The album spawned two singles: "Only Tongue Can Tell" and "Obscurity Knocks", which reached #8 and #12 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks Chart respectively. The album itself peaked at #74 and #131 on the UK Albums Chart and U.S. Billboard 200, respectively. Cake received praise from Allmusic, reviewer Norm Elrod said this of the album: "Easy on the ears and palate, Cake is as filling and digestible an album as one could hope."[1]
