LIVING is a cable channel owned by Gannet Company. broadcasting in the United States, Canada, and the rest of North America area. Originally launched as Granada Talk and Style in August 1, 1996, the channel changed its name to a soap opera shows in 1998, to SoapNet and then 8 years later, it relaunched it's cable channel called LIVING in October 1, 2005. The channel's programming was aimed mainly at women and young adults, but with new shows such as CSI, Close to Home and Boston Legal, the channel is now broadening its audience reach to a wider range of demographics including men aged 18–45.

The most watched shows on Living are Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, America's Next Top Model, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.

In September 28, 2001, the name Stars were removed on the title, replacing a name called Net and becomes SoapNet. regaining to view more ABC, CBS, NBC, and even FOX soap operas were being aired. SoapNet was also broadcast to air the very first SoapNet Awards debuting on October 9, 2001. on November 23, 2001, SoapNet was added SoapWatch, a daily talk show interviewing television soap operas from possible stages. it was hosted by Tan Ferro, and co-host Richard Pepillo. Ferro fired in 2003, and replaced with another host, Evan Cello.

The NBC soap opera series, Days of Our Lives and Another World has been expired on February 8, 2004, and it was underwritten with NBC Universal Entertainment. however, the NBC classic soap operas was continued to air few programs including the 1991 television soap opera series Sisters and the black soap opera, Generations.

LIVING

Gannet Company was announced on September 22, 2004 with a joint venture with Televisual Entertainment with to complete Bravo. The channel sightly known as: Lifetime Television for Women, was a working title network until the names appeared in March 8, 2005. In September 10, 2005, Gannett Company will term it's cable channels, Bravo which formed in NBC/Universal and Trouble which formed in News Corporation (a division of FOX). On October 1, 2005, SoapNet was renamed LIVING and comes with new shows with drama and comedy programming. LIVING, became the first 3 channels to release Gannett cable services as well as some Gannett O&O stations.

LIVING was still also broadcasting in cable. the 6-hour block were complained the short-lived multi-subscription package on Sundays called Fodder TV. however, the timeshared channel was eventually removed on some cable systems.

The Pat Richard Program, a daily live talk show, which debuted on March 6, 2007. it was the first LIVING original series in the United States to broadcast the daily-talk show host Pat Richard. competitors who complete Live with Regis and Kelly and Rachael Ray, The Pat Richard program is a daily talk show live from Pittsburgh, PA, and guests were appeared on The Pat Richard Program. on December 6, 2007, the daily-friendly Pat Richard went for a hiatus in 2 weeks, and gave it's name for 2008 called Pat Richard Show (respecting the title worth until 2009).

Other networks were launched on LIVING: LivingIt, a Home and Garden network, launched on November 8, 2009, and aimed for reality and new shows including The Biggest Loser and Nanny 911. These shows and movies were also added on LivingIt. Living Loves, launched on August 10, 2010 and made for comedy-drama series 14 hours a day. other channels were formed down including Living3, were added on some Video-on-demand services.

On January 10, 2009, Unsolved Mysteries and A Current Affair, is added new rerun documentaries to air on LIVING.

LIVING, is the first cable network to broadcast in HD on May 7, 2009.
