Suspected sockpuppets

StLouis2 was a dormant account, not being used since November 2017. Jawadmdr was engaging in a talk page discussion with us in the opinion polling page for the Pakistani General Election over here. All of a sudden, StLouis2 came out of dormancy and decided to vote in the discussion despite 1. Not having anything to do with the discussion 2. Not havin been summoned to engage in the discussion and 3. Having been dormant for over 7 months. Additionally, in a more recent talk page discussion, Jawadmdr seems to be convincingly supportive of StLouis2’s argument, just as StLouis2 was of his. Evidence is shown below:

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.

  • It all started when Masterpha added a controversial blog based Roshan Pakistan Opinion Poll on Opinion polling for the Pakistani general election, 2018 and started edit warring. It was than taken to Talk page where I opposed its inclusion. [1]. Finally after talk page discussion That controversial opinion poll was removed from article.
  • Masterpha again added a controversial media based Duniya Opinion Poll on Opinion polling for the Pakistani general election, 2018 and started edit warring. I objected on Talk page [2]. Finally after talk page discussion /consensus That controversial opinion poll was removed from article.
  • StLouis2 then added an aggregate of polls with an objective of using moving average statistical technic to guard against 2 sampling errors, system error and Biasness errors. Masterpha initially asked StLouis2 to added this aggregate table to a separate section. Once StLouis2 obliged. Suddenly Masterpha's Mood changed. He started removing the table. He started edit war and then moved to talk page [3]. I was invited by Masterpha for discussion on the topic[4]. Now how can blame me sock puppet of StLouis2 because Masterpha actually invited me for discussion. Now my only crime is that I am supporting StLouis2. Please admin remove me from this base less SPI by a stubborn edit worrier Masterpha. Jawadmdr (talk) 18:58, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Response to Jawadmdr I have not been edit warring in this case, Jawadmdr. In fact, you have been the one who refuses to discuss changes on the talk page and accept consensus. To quote: “Even consensus cannot change policy”. You and StLouis2 have broken the 3RR multiple times, unlike me. In fact, back when we were discussing dunya news polls you reverted edits 4 times without discussing changes and StLouis2 reverted edits 3 times. The same stubborn attitude of not willing to discuss edits on the talk page is evident throughout both of your edits. I will not take your lies about this: I added Roshan polls after a discussion with another user, Jawadmdr. I removed the poll after Wiki.0hlic, another user, objected to it. In the case of dunya, you were removing the poll without any consensus for it’s deletion. Which is why I was reverting your edit. You are using the term ‘edit warring’ too lightly. I was in fact one of the people who was initially AGAINST the inclusion of these polls due to talk page discussion and reverted edits in it’s favour. But do not try and change the topic. This investigation is about sockpuppetery, not edit warring. Masterpha (talk) 19:05, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - I also found it quite strange when StLouis2 suddenly jumped into that discussion, and essentially tilted the balance in a 4-3 voting result. Furthermore, upon closer examination of the two supposedly separate users' responses on a talk page, I found some clear stylistic similarities:

[5] clearly shows no immediate editing. It clearly shows least common pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jawadmdr (talkcontribs) 16:42, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments

  • Self-endorsed by clerk for checkuser attention - the simple behavioural overlap on an article related to an upcoming election is unconvincing evidence. However, the two users do have some stylistic quirks in common. Please check the two accounts. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 13:35, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Inconclusive Technically, StLouis2 has been editing exclusively on open proxies which have not been shared by any other relevant users. I was almost tempted to block the account for looking so suspicious. -- zzuuzz (talk) 18:49, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
