Rename

Rename this Article to The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause because it has a subtitle now.

The Plot!

Where's the story? It should be on this page! The official movie site has more info than us! Das654 04:34, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Probably because not many Wikipedians saw the movie. -24.92.46.16 02:12, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sequel

There will be a sequel ( The Santa Clause 4 ) ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.48.231.171 (talk) 17:38, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope not!173.58.251.147 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:10, 7 April 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Was EM actually pregnant in SC3?

Elizabeth Mitchell gave birth to a son, Christopher Joseph Soldevilla, Jr., on 4 September 2005. Production of The Santa Clause 3 was completed in February 2006. So, was she actually pregnant during the filming of SC3? When exactly were most of the parts where she appears pregnant filmed?-96.237.71.2 (talk) 03:23, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Vandalism

You can thank JonTron for this one. His Christmas special has him vandalizing the wikipedia page. [1]. At least now you know why :) Karunamon 16:42, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I burst out laughing when I saw it; as someone who reverts vandals all the time I did not expect to see that. Jdcomix (talk) 00:34, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copycat vandalism is something that Wikipedia is no stranger to. Classic example: Atlantic Records after the release of the music video for "Weird Al" Yankovic's "White & Nerdy". Blurp92 (talk) 21:02, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't this originally planned to be a Disney Channel original movie?

A few years ago, I seem to remember this article saying that this movie was originally supposed to be a Disney Channel original movie. Also, the infobox for this article currently says that the budget for this movie was $12 million, which is obviously very low for a movie with as many visual effects as this one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shrekfan1 (talkcontribs) 19:09, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 14 October 2018

Please change this movie's budget from $12 million to $120 million. $12 million is a very low budget for a movie with as many visual effects as this one. Shrekfan1 (talk) 19:17, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.. I think $12 is correct based on a few Google results. If you can find a reliable source to support your change, please let us know. RudolfRed (talk) 23:40, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

tim Allen needed money so he took the role Boyboyman (talk) 07:42, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. NiciVampireHeart 09:25, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Budget source needed

Hello. There doesn't seem to be a good source for the film's budget. Phactual.com (the current source) seemed to be a shady self-published site for hawking pharmaceuticals. Not sure how reliable their Santa Clause 3 trivia is, and I don't see anything on Box Office Mojo or the numbers. Can we please a) either tag or remove the current source. And b) find a better source or leave it blank until a reliable source can be found for the film's budget? Thank you. 97.124.236.82 (talk) 18:51, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It should probably be left blank. I check The Numbers and Box Office Mojo, no budget figure as you said. I tried various site searches but no budget figures. Variety seemed impressed enough that the film was able to make $20 million its opening weekend "held its own" going up against Borat.[2] LA Times was surprisingly positive about the film[3] Deadline even suggested that it was going to be bigger than Borat[4] which makes more sense when you read that Fox didn't know if Borat was going to succeed and scaled back the number of locations and only planned to go wide in the second week of release.[5] More from LA Times about shooting at Downey Studios in California instead of Canada but no numbers. I haven't been able to find the FILM LA reports for 2006 or 2007 or similar tax incentive reports there's still a chance you might be able to find the budget.
Again, I agree, since there are no reliable sources, a budget figure should not be listed in the Infobox. -- 109.79.78.254 (talk) 14:09, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tertiary syphilis

The Mark Kermode quote comparing this film to " tertiary syphilis" is not sourced. I was going to add a reference but the article was locked.

  • Source: David Brown (2011-05-24). "Interview: Kermode and Mayo celebrate a decade of Wittertainment". Radio Times.
  • Wiki markup for easier cut and pasting: {{cite web |date=2011-05-24 |author= David Brown |title= Interview: Kermode and Mayo celebrate a decade of Wittertainment |url= https://www.radiotimes.com/news/2011-05-24/interview-kermode-and-mayo-celebrate-a-decade-of-wittertainment/ |website= [[Radio Times]] }}

I cannot tell when the lock on this article is due to expire. Would someone please add the above reference to the article. -- 109.76.203.249 (talk) 20:42, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
