McLean Bible Church SBC Affiliation

I do not understand why you so vehemently want to list this church's affiliation differently than the church itself wants to be listed. I have reviewed the Wikipedia COI statement and do not believe that I am editing the pages inappropriately as a church member (not paid staff or church leadership). Listing it otherwise has led to confusion within the church, which resulted in the letter I have cited from the SBC clarifying the relationship. Why are you so set on listing it as part of a group for which it does not want to be affiliated?

Howard Wicks

Thanks for your feedback, as regards the edit - what makes most of the other people listed as having locked-in syndrome more notable? Howard has set up a charity to help other people with locked-in syndrome so I do not understand how he is less notable than many of the other people listed - how do we go about changing that? In any case the page is titled 'List of people with locked-in syndrome' - Howard has locked in syndrome which can clearly be authenticated on his charity's website - hence referencing it. I don't understand what the conflict of interest is, I thought it might be the sharing of the site that shares Howard's personal story so I removed that. I left the trusts website to authenticate who he is and what makes him notable. Thank you for your assistance.

On the Arabian Sea WP:WARing

I have reverted @HistoricalNameisPersianSea edits to the last stable version, because the article now have some “questionable” additions (like claiming the name changed due to “Arab raids” or in the alternative names sections claiming “about 70 percent of coastline and 90 percent is not Arab” whatever that means) and citing the Turkish, Arabic, and Persian Wikipedia as source. Anyway, ClueBOT rolledback and flagged my edit as possible vandalism, which is understandable. I just wanted to notify you on that, but to be clear I’m not asking for my revision to be reinstated (and I know you won’t be open to doing it seeing there’s an open ANB/EW ticket) but just a general heads-up with what’s going on. 2A00:1851:8002:3AA0:7487:D905:3A4A:337C (talk) 14:01, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

Romanticism Page Edits

I don't understand the removal of the content on romanticism. I was only using the same website to further the explanation as the opening passage. Romanticism was an artistic, literary, and intellectual movement that originated in Europe toward the end of the 18th century. In most areas the movement was at its peak in the approximate period from 1800 CE to 1840 CE. Romanticism reached beyond the rational and Classicist ideal models to elevate a revived medievalism. adding an extra sentence and citing the website as it hadn't been done before. Hi. I saw you reverted the edits to Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation as being too promotional. What I was trying to achieve was to actually remove the promotional tone. The article you reverted promoted Gov Scott Walker over and over. I think you might be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. re sandbox for jbello13

Thanks for your claritiy VViking. I was experimenting in my sandbox and I didn't necessarily expect my first draft to fly. Your criticisms clarified some areas. I do think my subject is notable and I tried too hard to show it, so you thought it looked like I was advertising. Also, I took some info from their website - very basic stuff like the list of people on the board and their and affiliations, but I didn't even notice the copyright at the bottom. I am waiting to hear from them about maybe going to a creative commons type copyright. Anyway, I am learning. I had to look up a lot of information to get this far, so maybe it is time for an orderly tutorial. Anyway, hopefully you won't hold this against me if I persevere and come up with a better version. Sergio Ramos

Hey I've just been editing Sergio Ramos wikipedia page. If you check Gerard Pique's page(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerard_Piqu%C3%A9), which is locked, the exact same sources that label him as one of the best in his generation also have Sergio Ramos in the sources, often ranking him higher. My statement on Ramos does not come from bias.
