Benjamin Sokomba Dazhi (also known as BennyDee; born February 15, 1988) is a Nigerian animator, video director, editor and cinematographer.[1][2] He is best known for his 3D animations and has worked with several big names in the Nigerian entertainment industry including the renowned Nigerian video director Akin Alabi on the animated movie, The Legend of Oronpoto.[3]
In September 2021, Benjamin partnered with Cartoon Network to bring the new animated series CN Dance Challenge, which premieres October 2, 2021.[4] The show is all about teaching kids different African-inspired dance routines from two super-talented animated dance instructors, Anwuli and Kingsley. Episodes will also feature surprise battle with either Anwuli or Kingsley and a kid who managed to crack the dance from the week before in their own unique style.[5]
