Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello, I'm Deepfriedokra. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to User:Sigwald. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. Thank you. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 12:40, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Deepfriedokra. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Russia seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. - That is exactly what the regime in russia had become: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism
- One of the official reasons for this invasion in my country (provided by putin himself) is to fight fascism (!) in Ukraine. That is, actually, one of many parallels in the behavior, speech and actions between putin and hitler.
- But you are right. I'm not neutral at all. My city (which is far from the hottest spot in Ukraine) is being bombed and bombarded with rocket artillery by Russian troops every day. Thousands of civilians had died since the beginning of a full-scale invasion on my country. Among them - more than a hundred children. More than 1500 residential buildings has been destroyed. Not only invaders kill civilians, they also rape, rob and take hostages.
- And Russian propaganda says that their troops only hit on military targets with high precision weapons and there are no civilian casualties. PashaTarsius (talk) 21:42, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
Interaction ban proposal for User:Sigwald
Whilst I understand your anger at being blocked on the Russian Wikipedia, I hate it when disruption spills over to the English Wikipedia. And I've certainly experienced cross-Wiki harassment for my admin actions here. So, as you have been contributing constructively here, I propose the following
- interaction ban with User:Sigwald . I ask you not to interact with them in any way.
- I will partial block you from their user and talk pages.
- Please do not ping them or email them.
- Please avoid pages they have edited. Certainly, do not revert their edits.
- Please do not interact with them on any article talk pages.
- No form of interaction I have failed to mention here. please.
- If you do not find this satisfactory, I would be happy to discuss it at the admin noticeboard.
Cheers, and happy editing. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:14, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hello.
- I'm not angry. But I really think that blocking me is the case of using the authority to suppress the truth (regarding authoritarian fascist regime in russia, in this case) which contradicts the base principles of Wikipedia.
- Therefore I ask for your assistance in the following:
- 1. Revoke User:Sigwald administrative powers.
- 2. Restore my rights in Russian section of Wikipedia.
- Please, advise on the matter.
- Thank you. PashaTarsius (talk) 17:10, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry, you feel that way. Feel free to appeal my action at WP:AN. However, you are engaged in casting aspersions, what looks like harassment in retaliation for a matter unconcerned with the English Wikipedia, and outing(?). You must be prepared for the fact that the Community might look unkindly on what you have done and what you are doing by carrying on this dispute here. The English Wikipedia is not the place to appeal your block on the Russian Wikipedia. That must be done on the Russian Wikipedia. Likewise, the English Wikipedia has neither any interest nor any control over admins on the Russian Wikipedia. Complaints against Russian Wikipedia admins must be dealt with on the Russian Wikipedia. If you choose to appeal my decision to partial block you and request that you not contact Sigwald , please notify both of us per the instructions at WP:AN. Such notification is allowed and required. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:40, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for the quick and extensive response. I had suspected that different sections of Wikipedia are independent in that way, but I know nothing about policies and procedures therefore asked for your advice (consultation).
- I won’t dispute your decision to partially block me from visiting the personal pages of User:Sigwald since by this time I haven’t got any interest left in my communication with him. He is malicious or ignorant in understanding how serious is the current situation in his country and how important is the truth and the freedom of speech for his fellow citizens. PashaTarsius (talk) 18:16, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Try to make same edits in the article about Russia here in enwiki, lets see what will happen. The freedom of speech ≠ the freedom of vandalising Wikipedia articles & the freedom of harrasing other users. --Sigwald (talk) 18:27, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Also, block this user from editing my personal pages, please. PashaTarsius (talk) 18:42, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

Done
@Sigwald: Please stop. Looks like you need an WP:IBAN too. You are not an admin here. I had this situation handled. You are in no position to offer threats. I will partial block you as well. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:40, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
DS alert for Eastern Europe, including Russia and Ukraine
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Balkans or Eastern Europe. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
