VR Troopers

I read your message, I have indeed noticed Grnrngr.com and visit it quite often; in fact I sent images via Yahoo email many months ago. I read your Metal Hero guide. Your Metalder guide is very accurate, but for Spielban and Shaider, that could be a problem. The thing is that season 2 hardly aired in my hometown (the downside of syndicated shows), those monsters are much more difficult for me to confirm. The monsters that I personally contributed to on the Spielban guide are confirmed. I found Portuguese dub episodes, but not every episode is available. There is a discrepancy about Mechajouka though; the monster appeared in season 1 but did not have a name. Some say its a season 2 monster Bazookabot, but I never saw the VR episode in question. As for images, I won't be posting images for a time being due to a malfunction with my computer. The computer I am using currently does not have screencapturing; but I hope to get my machine repaired soon. There are fans who got to see the entire season 2 and will hopefully be able to help confirm some monsters. But I did manage to confirm Shaider monster MujiMuji as Silkoid (a VRT season 2 ep I did see); this monster is NOT ItoIto. Best of luck. Pitstain 07:18, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Responsible studios are [KK C&D Asia], [Studio World] and Ashi Production (ja:MASK (アニメ) & it's just about searching). Studio World and Studio Ashi etc are credited on the Japanese wiki, I gave you the link for it, now if you can't read Japanese, well, I suggest you to forget about MASK and to care about Mickey Moyuse and Tom & Jerry it would be easier for you. Anyway the article is far better now with the Japanese uncredited studios than like it was earlier with stupid statements like "MASK is an American TV show", it wasn't! It was French/US/Japanese. How about I leave you all alone before I do, and take my writing and editing skills (as well as my -- apparently rare -- ability to write a college-level paper and knowledge of encyclopedia article structure) someplace where it's appreciated? I'm sorry, but it is hard to be enthusiastic about a project going to pot. What I'm most annoyed about is the fact that the administators are more worried about what people say in edit summaries than the statuses of this "encyclopedia's" articles. I also beseech you, do not talk down to me. You do not walk on water, nor do I. I've been editing for this project for much, much longer than you have (unless you've changed accounts at some point), and I don't need to be reminded me of any policies. You'll quickly find that Wikipedia picks and chooses which policies to follow, so I wouldn't go around being a rule Nazi if I were you. I've been trying to stop editing altogether, but I can't bear to leave some of these pages in the horrid statuses they're in, knowing multitudes of people read these things expecting factually accurate information. Look -- I don't dislike new editors, although I do resent being talked down to (which, by the way, you are still doing). Usually, I'm the nicest (well, at least third nicest) person in the world, on here and off; I've just become frustrated by this project lately, and I apoligize for snapping. Wikipedia is not that bad of an "addiction" -- yes, I can leave, but I care far too much about keeping people from "learning" incorrect and inaccurate information, and I'm not really much of a quitter. Every time I do take Wikibreaks or try to quit, the articles within my realm of knowledge go to hell; sometimes, it's as if I'm one of the few people here who actually cares about quality work. Just reading things like [this annoys me, and speaks very quietly to the lack of research and cultural scope of many of these articles (I've had to deal with much worse problems, but this is somewhat indicative).

Editing Wikipedia important for me because there is a distinct lack of Wikipedia editors of African decent. At times, Wikipedia seems to make itself out to be a convenoient hideaway for bigots, racists, and people who just plain don't care about anyone or anything that's not white. Articles on topics which appeal to white males who frequently use computers abound here, while other things suffer and perish. When I got here, there were 300 articles on The Beatles and no article on Sly & the Family Stone. I've touched pratically three-fouths of every article involving African American history, culture, and music (especially music). There's only a small (very small) number of other editors covering the same areas. Wikipedia needs more voices of color, and that's why I don't want to just give up on it.

Again, I apoligize for snapping at you at all, but at the same time, you needn't remind me of any policy or notify me of any violations of policy (trust me, I know them all by heart by now). Sometimes, you can get pretty frustrated if you realize that you're one of the few people who gives a damn anymore, and is trying to follow the rules. This place used to be a lot different when I joined, and people actually cared about quality, and I realize I'm improperly expressing my anger at such. I thought that this was an important and vital project, but perhaps I'm wrong. Many of the current editors have no concepts of professional writing, verifiability, etc. Besides more voices of color, Wikipedia needs more people who actually know how to open a book, find a reference, and actually use it properly in writing. Hopefully, you're one of those people.

But, perhaps I hold too high an opinion of Wikipedia, and I should scale it down to match whatever the project has become today. Citizendium looks like it might be more my speed. I don't want to contribute to a routine wiki -- I want to help write a professional and verifiable encyclopedia and help educate people, not just waste free time. --FuriousFreddy 02:45, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

I am reverting your move of this article to the non-capitalized version. WikiProject Heraldry and vexillology and others before us have debated the proper naming of articles about heraldry and we've settled on a standard using "Coat of arms of ..." as the article name but that it is ok to capitalize the C and A in the intro of the article. The lowercase format was the most widely used, btw. Some of these categories used to be somewhat of a mess, but AFAIK all of them now follow the same naming convention, so we would like to keep them this way. Happy editing. WKRK Website Schedule

Not bad on the WKRK history,as for the schedule,As I have learned,never trust the website schedule,always ask someone close to the station as I did,because its not updated, hence the famed "To Be Announced" I put on the sunday lineup after the Lions games ended.

Radio station titles

Radio station call signs

The statement I gave earlier referenced the clarification note in the call sign section. However, you could see from the radio station wikiproject's structure section that the note and the examples didn't exactly match. Furthermore, after looking at WP:NAME#Broadcasting, I saw that the Radio Station project needed major rewriting. Therefore, I ended up rewriting and reorganizing the entire Radio Station project page. BNL Singles

When you edited the BNL singles based on a nav template, you didn't take into account the purpose of the navbox. The navbox isn't there as a chronology list. Songs such as $1000000 were released as singles twice, which is why it appears in 1996 in the chronology listings of some singles, and it had two chrono listings in its own article. There would be no reason for listing it twice in the navbox because it's one article, but it was a single twice. TheHYPO 14:02, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

A was a single. I have a copy of the single (for which they even made a clean lyric radio edit) in my closet. Unfortunately, I wasn't around back then (as a fan), so I can't speak to the actual proliferation of the song as a single. Million dollars is a major issue. I believe the story is that it was not released as a single, but radio stations got tons of requests for it based on the tape/cd/live shows, and it ended up getting a lot of airplay. I think only THEN did it get released (a radio cd) from the initial Gordon CD. There is definately a commercial disc for it from 92/3 though. It was also released in 97 commercially; but it never had a video, and I believe the band has said that it was "never released as a single", even though there are those factors involved. I think it was an unplanned single that just became one... or some explaination.
