Teen Wolf: The Movie is an upcoming American supernatural thriller teen drama film written and executive produced by Jeff Davis, and stars Tyler Posey as Scott McCall.
The film is based on a 2011 television series with a same name, which itself is loosely based on a 1985 film with a same name, and continues where the series had left off. The film will also serve as a starting point for the upcoming spin-off television series, Wolf Pack, based on a novel written by Edo van Belkom.[2]
The film is set to be released on the Paramount+ streaming platform on October 2022.[1]
Plot
A terrifying new evil has emerged in Beacon Hills calling for the return of Alpha Werewolf Scott McCall, to once again reunite the Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and other shapeshifters of the night. With new allies and trusted friends like Derek Hale, Lydia Martin, Jackson Whittemore, Malia Tate, and the return of Allison Argent who was a long lost love, Scott and his pack just might stand a chance.

Production
In September 2021, it was announced that a reunion film for 2011 Teen Wolf television series had been ordered by Paramount+, with Jeff Davis returning as a screenwriter and executive producer for the film. The majority of the original cast members will reprise their roles,[3][4] although cast members Dylan O'Brien, Arden Cho and Cody Christian declined to return for the film.[5][6]
Filming
In March 2022, principal photography had officially begun.[7] Filming finished on May 17, 2022.[8]
Marketing
The teaser trailer for the film was released on July 21, 2022, at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con International.[9]
