Charlie Finch was an American art critic who wrote for Artnet and Coagula. He was known for his often vitriolic and controversial reviews. [1]
In August of 2022 Finch who was terminally ill with cancer jumped out the window of his East Village apartment in Manhattan to his death .[2][3]
Finch's mother-in-las was the visual artist Anne Truitt and his son is the novelist Charles Finch.[4]
