Fiddicket (コロトック, Korotokku, Korotok in original Japanese language versions) are one of the Template:Pokenum fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Korotok in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]

Biological characteristics

Korotok resembles a dark red cricket standing upright. Its forearms curve into scythe-like shapes (compare with Scyther), perhaps resembling conductor's batons. It also has two large whiskers resembling a handlebar mustache. The mustache on the female is slightly smaller than the male's.

Its appearance resembles a violin, or double bass, with string-like lines on its neck. It could be a guitar with the hollow center (although it is black) shared by both. But with its scythes, or bows (for a violin), it could most likely be instrument-designed, like its pre-evolution, Kricketot.

The head shape could also be related to a jester or harlequin.

In the video games

Korotok evolve from Kricketot at level 10.

Korotok has the pre-existing ability Swarm. This ability complements it well due to its wide array of Bug-Type moves, such as Fury Cutter and Leech Life, which it learns by leveling up. It can also learn the new Bug type attacks: Scissor Cross, a physical attack; and Bug Upheavel, a special attack which may lower the target's Special Defense. It can also learn the attacks Silver Wind and Somersault via TM. Korotok can learn non-Bug type attacks Brick Break and Aerial Ace via TM as well.

Korotok is not a particularly strong Pokémon. It has base stat values of 85 in its HP and 77 in its Attack. However, its defensive stats are very weak, which means Korotok can be taken down fairly easily.

Korotuk can be commonly found in Routes 206, 210-South, 212, 214, 215, and the Pokémon Mansion.
