FTX financial crisis → Collapse of FTX – "Crisis" doesn't seem like it's the best title for what's happening. It's concise and it's descriptive, but it's not the ideal title. I'm proposing the title Collapse of FTX due to it being able to outline the entire saga of FTX, including the bankruptcy, while alternatively, as suggested by @MainlyTwelve:, Bankruptcy of FTX would be a proposal I would also be inclined to support. Suggest deferring decision for a week or so — The crisis seems to be spreading. BlockFi is apparently headed for bankruptcy. Genesis (no Wikipedia article?) has "paused withdrawals". Gemini (company) is having problems because their "yield" offering was based on lending to Genesis. Famous influencers who endorsed FTX are now being sued. It's not clear how bad things will get. We may end up at "2022 cryptocurrency collapse". So I'd suggest holding off on major changes for a few days until things settle down some, per WP:NOTNEWS. Worried that bankruptcy may refer to only the legal proceedings around the ch.11 reorg instead of the wider effects. Perhaps FTX scandal as per the similar article Enron scandal? [osunpokeh/talk/contributions] 12:59, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think that's a fair concern, but this doesn't seem too much like a scandal like Enron or Theranos and it is arguable that bad luck/forced majure caused FTX's collapse. Bankruptcy is a title which can encompass background. InvadingInvader (userpage, talk) 04:55, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support changing to Collapse of FTX or Bankruptcy of FTX — "financial crisis" suggests broader contagion into traditional banking and finance which is not the case. "crypto financial crisis" would be more accurate/specific but too wordy. "Collapse of FTX" is accurate and the article can still talk about the broader effects of the collapse.
