The Association of University Presses (AUP) is a membership organization of university presses, founded in 1937[1][2] as the Association of American University Presses.[3] AUP has over 150 members including,[4] Cambridge University Press, Johns Hopkins University Press, University of Chicago Press, University of Toronto Press.

In 2021, AUP became an affiliate member of the American Council of Learned Societies.[5] AUP is also an affiliate member of the International Publishers Association.[6]
