Sujit Meher is an Indian Fashion Designer, born in Kalahandi district of Odisha.He is well known for reviving Traditional Handloom textile of Kalahandi called Habaspuri.

Early Life

Born in Chichaiguda,Kalahndi district, to a Bhulia Hindu weaver family.He has been graduated from National Institute of Fashion Design.[1]

Career

He started his career as fashion designer but later became entrepreneur, As he has received trademark permission under a brand name from the Government of India to export handloom products like Habaspuri handloom,sambalpuri Handloom and other handlooms of Odisha.[2]
