Hello @Fastily |
While I understand section U5 of the criteria "Misuse of Wikipedia as a web host" for speedy deletion, I'm not sure to understand how it applies to my sandbox page. |
- I'm not related or affiliated with ISO in any way, but I do use standards they publish on a daily basis. I thought it would be worth write a page about the LDE Award that recognizes the significant contribution and superior performance of an ISO technical committee or subcommittee to the development of ISO International Standards. |
- I also wrote it as a sandbox page (I probably should have created a draft page instead, I'm still a rookie contributor). I was about to ask my Wikipedia tutor for revision prior to publish it as final version and make sure it meets Wikipedia's goals and standards. |
- There is many "Awards" pages such as Grammy Awards, not sure why ISO's awards can't have one... |
I hope I can get a constructive feedback after a careful reading of the deleted content encouraging me to continue contributing and producing best possible content. |
@TLJ7863's message was initially saying "Misuse of Wikipedia as a web host" then it turned to be a lack of WP:NPOV without sources. Kinda lost here as I was adding sources from ISO and ANSI... Didn't have time to finish to add more from respected sources, like DIN and the 295k web search results. |
