Attention:

This IP address, 220.227.179.4, is registered to Infosys Technologies Ltd. Bangalore and may be shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

However, you might still be unable to edit Wikipedia if the IP you are using is blocked due to a MediaWiki "feature". In such a case you could request to be unblocked.

In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact Infosys Technologies Ltd. Bangalore to report network abuse.

Notice: This address has been used to spam Wikipedia with links to a madforclicks-dot-com website. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 08:24, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Bapatla page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Corpx 08:30, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. Please stop. You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}.

If you are the person who added that self-aggrandizing language to Institute of Management Technology, please note that Wikipedia is not a marketing brochure. You may want to read WP:NPOV and WP:WWIN. This is not to say that you're not welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, but please remember that this is an encyclopedia and should be treated as such.
