Ishaq Magaji was born and raised in Shiro Local Government of Bauchi State, Nigeria. He completed his primary education in 1992 before moving on to Government Science Secondary School in Toro, Bauchi State. From 1992 to 1995, he attended this school and obtained his Junior Secondary School Certificate. Magaji then continued his education at Albayan Secondary School in Jos, where he completed his Senior Secondary School Certificate in 1999.

Driven by a passion for law, Magaji enrolled at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria and pursued his LLB (Hons) degree from 2001 to 2007. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended the Nigerian Law School from 2007 to 2008 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2008. Ishaq Magaji was born and raised in Shiro Local Government of Bauchi State, Nigeria.
