Chithrakkoodakkallu, also known as Chithrakoodam, Nagakkallu, Sarppakkallu is an artificial abode system or a house for the deity snakes or a devotional image(Murti) of a serpent deity, constructed with rocks for snake worship. These consecrations can be seen at sarpa kavus of some ancient, traditional hindu families and rare temples all over Kerala.[1][2][3]
