Metro line 54 is part of the Amsterdam metro network, running between Amsterdam Centraal and the Gein district in Amsterdam-Zuidoost.[1] The original line, running from Weesperplein to Station Holendrecht, opened on October 14, 1977. On October 11, 1980, the line was extended to the Centraal Station (along with the other metro lines) and on August 27, 1982 the line was completed wit the extension to Gein.[2]
