Mariam Kasali, also known as Remilekun Mariam Kasali and Remmy Chanter, is a Nigerian musician, who specialises in the Yoruba oratory chant.[1] Remilekun specialises in the genre of the indigenous Yoruba Chant regarded as Ewi. She started a career in the indigenous traditional chant in the year 2010 but started gaining recognition in year 2013. Remilekun is a postmodernist Yoruba poet who recalibrates the traditional art of Ewi to suit the 21st century trend. audience. She commercialises the Yoruba oral poetry through the social media platforms[2]

Education

Remilekun Mariam Kasiali graduated from Kwara State University in the year 2015.
