Rao Duda Rathore was the son of Rao Jodha of Jodhpur. He established Merta Estate. His descendents called Mertiya Rathore. His son is Rao Veeramdev Mertiya (who fought battle of Khanwa from Rana Sanga's side). His grandson is Rao Jaimal Rathore.[1]
