Lucy Heavens is a South African comedy writer and actress. Alongside Nic Smal, she is the co-creator of Kiff and serves as an executive producer and writer for the series, in addition to writing and producing songs and voicing Helen and Miss Tulane[1]
The show is inspired by the people and places the duo experienced when they were growing up in Cape Town.[2]
The series premiered on March 10, 2023, on Disney Channel in association with Titmouse Inc.[3] In June 2023, the series was renewed for a second season.[4]

In an October 2023 interview, Heavens named "The Sound of Helen" and "Blooper Quest" as her favorite Kiff episodes thus far. [5]
