BurgerTime Party! (バーガータイムパーティー, Bāgātaimupātī) is 2019 video developed by G-Mode exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. A revival of the BurgerTime franchise, the title features over 100 stages and multiplayer for up to four players simultaneously, a first (???) for the series. The game launched globally on October 8, 2019, to moderate critical reception.

Gameplay

Like the previous entries in the BurgerTime series, players control chef Peter Pepper as he traverses stages to build a number of hamburgers while avoiding enemy foods. Hamburgers are built using a number of ingredients scattered across each stage, themselves vertically orientated and consisting of a number of platforms ands ladders. Players walk over ingredients to drop them to the level below, completing this task for each remaining ingredient until all have been assembled on the plate resting below the stage. Once all burgers in a level have been completed, the stage completes.

A number of enemies roam each level which will defeat Peter upon contact, causing the player to lose a life and the stage be reset to its original configuration. Players are able to stun enemies using a limited number of pepper sprays, which will render the foods temporarily incapacitated and allow Peter to walk past them. If an enemy is below an ingredient when the player walks over it, dropping it to the below level where the enemy is, the opponent will be defeated.
