Chaithanya Unni is a dermatologist and medical entrepreneur based in Australia. A doctor by profession, practising family medicine and dermatology in Australia, Chaithanya, along with her husband, runs 'Amtan', a chain of eight medical centres in that country. [1][2]
She is the Great, great granddaughter of O Chandu Menon, the author of Indulekha.[3]
Chaithanya Unni is the winner of 1988 Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for the film Ormmayilennum.[4]
She is the project head of O Chandu Menon foundation, that launched Empowering woman entrepreneurs (EWE), helping woman to achieve their dreams through education.[5] A classical dancer, she also won appreciation for adapting Indulekha into a musical, directed by Soorya Krishnamoorthy.[6][7]
