Virginia Damtsa is a Greek-born French curator based in London.[1][2][3]

Early life

Virginia Damtsa, a Greek-born art curator, studied ballet in Paris before returning to London and helping to start Riflemaker, an art gallery, in 2004.[4]

At sixteen years old, Damtsa joined the art world to assist her uncle in launching Alekos K. Damtsa Museum at the Art Center Giorgio de Chirico.[5] [6]

Professional career

In 2003, she co-founded Riflemaker London gallery[7][8][9] with Tot Taylor.[10][11]

Among her collectors are Michael Seresin, the director of photography for Harry Potter, and Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran.[12]

In 2018, Damtsa founded VVA Virginia Visual Arts Ltd.[12][13]

In 2024, Damtsa curated the exhibition Art Through Time: Contemporary Reflections, London.[14]
