In the article, ref 3 (''Journal für praktische Chemie'', 1957) mentioned the attempted preparation of titanium tetraacetate, which resulted in oxoacetate. However, in the newer ref 2 (''Z. Anorg. Allg. Chem.'', 1978), the authors prepared the tetraacetate by reacting TiMe<sub>4</sub> with acetic acid. Existence of titanium tetraacetate

In the article, ref 3 (Journal für praktische Chemie, 1957) mentioned the attempted preparation of titanium tetraacetate, which resulted in oxoacetate. However, in the newer ref 2 (Z. Anorg. Allg.
